Networks take many forms and functions all around us. We have communication networks, food networks, business networks, water networks, transportation and so much more. It is all around us. According to Anna Nagurney in Network Theory, states how all networks share one thing in common and its connecting humans in our own communities and activities, yes us people.
I never really took time to realize how much networking is evolving around us! Truth is it is growing rapidly. Even more so now through this pandemic with schooling, work, transportation and communication. The science behind networks was very interesting to hear Anna Nagurney explain because even though the internet is an old network source it has turned out to be very efficient.
It is part of our daily lives. It has made life sometimes more simple with the infamous apps that we use on a daily from grocery shopping, fitness, navigation, stock exchanges (financial networks) and even with amazon’s very own Alexa. It can minimize time. Networks are all around us and will continue to grow.
